Junior Athlete
Development Program
We help junior athletes become elite in-game performers by identifying their X FACTOR and areas of greatest opportunity.
This program is designed for emerging athletes wanting to achieve more in their sport. We use a system that combines regular testing and assessment, in game performance review as well as strength, power and field based sessions to transform young competitors into strong, fast, powerful, and confident athletes.
How it works
Our Junior Athlete Development Program transforms young athletes into elite in-game performers. We help young athletes develop their strength, speed and power with the aim of reducing injury and optimising their performance in their chosen sport. We believe our program is the essential to helping young athletes realise their potential.
1. IDENTIFY YOUR
X - FACTOR & AREAS OF GREATEST OPPORTUNITY
The first step is assessing & testing you as an athlete. This step is used to identify your x-factor, strengths, weaknesses and blindspots. We will assess areas such as mobility, balance, power, speed & agility. How you apply these skills in game is important and our testing process includes reviewing your game vision.
2. DESIGN A PROGRAM JUST FOR YOU
Using the outcomes from your assessment and performance testing we design a program just for you. Firstly we bullet proof your body by addressing your weaknesses and blindspots. Then, we work on optimising your strengths.
3. EXECUTE YOUR PLAN
With your program completed it’s time to get to work. You have access to up to three gym and two field based sessions, each week. You will have an expert coach take you through your program in a small group training environment (1:5 coach to athlete ratio).
4. ASSESS YOUR PROGRESS
We use regular testing (four times yearly), assessment, in training performance and analysis of game vision to track your progress against your program goals and track your success. Being adaptable is important, regular testing allows us to ensure your program continues to be right for you as you change and develop as both an athlete and person.

Performance Testing x 4
Regular testing is a key component of our program and ensures we are always doing the things required to help you be the best you can be. Our testing includes assessment of speed, agility, mobility, strength and power. How you apply these skills in game is important and we take the time to review your game vision as part of the testing process.
Individualised Program
We design a program that is right for you. Programs are designed to address weaknesses, blindspots and optimise strengths. We ensure individual programs consider the needs of the athlete depending on the time of year - in season, off season and pre season. For young athletes we understand the importance of adapting programs to allow for other commitments such as school and other sporting commitments.
Field Based Sessions
Running Technique
Speed & Agility
Field based sessions are an important component of this program. You will have access to up to two field based sessions each week. In small groups athletes are provided with the opportunity to improve their running technique and further develop their speed, agility and change of direction skills. Learning to apply skills in-game are an important part of these sessions.
Strength Sessions
Access to gym based strength sessions (up to three each week). Each week you will continue to work through your personalised program in the gym working with a focus on mobility, power and strength.
