ABOUT US

My name is Emma Gaul, I have worked as a coach/personal trainer for over 15 years. After combining a career in change management with coaching I took the leap and started Progress Coaching & Athlete Development at the start of 2019. Although I work with people of all ages I specialise in developing young athletes. I continue to develop my business with the aim of providing the best possible solution for young athletes of all abilities. I believe confidence is key in athlete development and helping young people realise their potential, perform at their best and continue to love the sport they play.

I have experience working with clubs, teams, athletes and individuals, specialising in running technique for team sports and strength & conditioning. I have an interest in coach development and have worked in partnership with Fitzroy Junior Football Club and Melbourne Gymnastics Centre to provide resources and support to coaches in areas such as speed development and the mental side of the game.

I have worked with athletes from a variety of teams and sports including:
Carlton VFL, Carey First XVIIIs, Northern Knights U18 (Boys & Girls), Gippsland Power, Carlton VFLW, Melbourne Victory Pre - Academy, Victorian State Diving Squad, Alamein Football Club, Caroline Springs Football Club, South Melbourne Soccer Club, Melbourne Aces Baseball Academy and Wesley Football Program, Port Melbourne Soccer Club, EJC Basketball Academy and Athletics Australia.

With a keen interest in Aussie Rules Football, I have experience working for teams in the EDFL and NAB League analysing game day statistics and reviewing match vision for the purposes of individual player review.
